Internship Program
Congressional internships are available in my Washington, Hanford, and Bakersfield Offices. To apply for an internship please complete the Congressional Internship Program Application

Interns in my Washington, D.C. office experience life in a Congressional office first hand. While at the Washington DC office, interns assist with general office tasks, attend briefings and hearings on behalf of senior staff, organize incoming constituent mail, provide Capitol tours to visitors, and a multitude of other tasks.

During the spring and fall sessions, interns currently enrolled in college are expected to work as many hours as possible without interfering with their academics. During the summer session, interns are expected to work normal business hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm as many days a week as their schedule permits.

All students, regardless of school location, are encouraged to apply. Students with Central Valley ties are preferred, but California residency is not a requirement.
