Our office has collaborated with local community colleges and a high school to produce four Veterans History Project films: The Wars We Fought (2007), The Greatest Generation: Operation Detachment (2011), Women Warriors: A Vision of Valor (2014) and MEDIC! (2016). The full documentaries are available for viewing below.

The Veterans History Project (VHP) is a congressionally chartered project, which is part of the Library of Congress American Folklife Center. Congress created the Veterans History Project in 2000 as a way to collect, preserve and make accessible personal accounts of American war Veterans so that future generations may hear directly from Veterans and better understand the realities of war. Ed submits all documentaries to the Library of Congress’ American Folklife Center where they become a permanent part of the Library’s Veterans History Project showcase. If you have any questions about the Veterans History Project, please contact Kathryn Wirkus in our office at (303) 274-7944.
