Last night, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-42) displayed a blue light in his Washington, D.C. office window in honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
“Our police officers risk their lives every day to protect our communities and keep us safe,” said Rep. Calvert. “On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day we honor the men and women in blue who bravely serve and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Today, and every day, we should ask ourselves what steps we can take to ensure every police officer returns home safely to their family at the end of every shift.”
