Sixth District

Virginia's Sixth Congressional District is one of the most diverse and beautiful regions in the country. The Sixth District is comprised of 12 counties and seven independent cities and is home to more than 700,000 residents. Stretching across the western side of Virginia from Roanoke and Lynchburg, up the Shenandoah Valley to Harrisonburg and Front Royal, and west to the mountains of Highland and Bath Counties, the Sixth District is rich with history, a strong sense of community, and great people. From outdoor treasures like Shenandoah National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests to over 20 colleges and universities, the Sixth District is a great place to live and work. The Sixth District is also home to many industries that help drive our local economy, including manufacturing, agriculture, technology, health care, hospitality, energy, and transportation.
