The protection of our borders, specifically the southern border, should be of concern to all Americans. It is imperative that Congress continue to provide federal, state, and local agencies and law enforcement officers with the resources and support they need to secure our border. It is intolerable that thousands of illegal aliens penetrate our borders each month and that potential terrorists could do so as well. We are a Nation of laws and we must enforce these laws not only for our safety, but also to show that we do not reward illegal behavior of any kind.
