Washington, December 8, 2016 - Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) released the following statement on the passing of John Glenn:

"I am deeply saddened by the passing of a true national hero, John Glenn. A pioneer of the Space Program and dedicated public servant, Senator Glenn paved the way for generations of astronauts and scientists," said Posey. "His service and his courage as a Mercury astronaut enabled America to make tremendous advancements, culminating in our historic Moon landing."
