About the District

Arkansas' first Congressional district is formed by the eastern border of the state, which is formed by the Mississippi River, and part of the northern border. The area includes the state's rich Delta and part of the Ozarks region. Though the district is home to many small, rural communities, but cities such as Jonesboro also call this diverse district home.

The first district is home to a large agricultural community which produces rice, cotton, and soybeans. There is also a notable manufacturing contribution coming from the district as well. Food, consumer products, and other general industry goods are made in this part of Arkansas.

Arkansas is a natural state with a lot of diversity to offer in many different categories. Commerce, Recreation, and geography, just to mention a few.
