We are always seeking motivated and enthusiastic college students interested in interning for academic credit. Our internship program is open to all college students, regardless of major. All internships are unpaid, and candidates who are chosen for the Washington, D.C. office may be responsible for paying their own travel and living expenses. Interns are accepted for the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons, but tailored to work with individual start/finish dates.
Internships in Washington D.C.:
Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working closely with the legislative, communications, and constituent services staff members.
Internships in the District Offices:
By assisting my district staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about how a congressional office provides constituent services and interacts with the community. Internships are available year-round, and can be coordinated with class schedules.
