Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced today that the president has made the following nomination:
Rear Adm. (lower half) Bret C. Batchelder for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Batchelder is currently serving as commander, Navy Warfare Development Command, Norfolk, Virginia.
