Coal is a part of life in Kentucky, for the communities who produce it and for all the consumers and businesses around the Commonwealth who benefit from inexpensive coal-powered electricity. I’ve been fighting on behalf of the coal industry since I came to Congress and will continue to defend against President Obama's War on Coal. It was great to be able to tour River View Coal facility last week to gain firsthand insights into the high-tech industry and meet with the dedicated workers who keep the lights on in Kentucky.
