During Tuesday’s session of the Senate, Senator Reid filed cloture on the motion to proceed to S.1323, to express the sense of the Senate on shared sacrifice in resolving the budget deficit. Unless an agreement is reached, a cloture vote on the motion to proceed to S.1323 will occur during Thursday’s session of the Senate.
