As open enrollment began this week, North Carolinians were again reminded of the disaster that is Obamacare. Premiums up nearly 25% and only one insurer offering plans in 95% of NC counties are just two examples of this law's failures. Obamacare must be repealed and replaced with a plan that actually reduces costs and improves care. McHenry to Host Government Contracting & Exporting Workshop

McHenry Eugenics Compensation Legislation Becomes Law

President Barack Obama signed S. 1698, the Treatment of Certain Payments in Eugenics Compensation Act into law. S. 1698 assists victims of state-sponsored eugenics programs by exempting all payments received from state eugenics compensation programs from being considered as income when determining eligibility for federal benefits.
