Boustany Announces 2010 Farm Day Forum in Welsh

Please join me for my fourth annual Farm Day Forum being held in Welsh, Louisiana. 

Boustany tours the LSU Ag Rice Research Station in Crowley, LAThese forums have given me the opportunity to hear directly from you about the challenges facing our farming community.  I remain committed to supporting our farmers and ranchers while helping to foster a vibrant rural community. 

Looking back over the past year, many policies being pushed in Washington are creating great uncertainty for all Americans.  In addition to the constant battle with Mother Nature, the passage of health-care reform and a Cap & Trade energy tax in the House of Representatives is very troubling to our small businesses and rural communities.  I look forward to hearing your thoughts and views on these and many other subjects. 

Your input has been invaluable to me over the years, and I always appreciate your honesty and candor.  I would like to continue hearing from you and hope you will be able to attend this important forum.
