Requesting a White House Tour: **New Procedure**


Thank you for visiting Congresswoman Edwards’ website to request a tour of the White House. Please read the instructions below and complete the required form in order to submit your request. My office is only able to submit requests for groups/individuals residing in Maryland’s Fourth Congressional District.

Non-citizens and non-residents may arrange tours by contacting their embassy or representative in the United States Congress. To find your representative, please click here.

Tour Details:

The White House tour is a public and self-guided experience that includes stops in ceremonial rooms located in the White House Residence and the East Wing. Tours are available to constituents Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 11 AM; Friday, 7:30 AM – 12 PM; and Saturday, 7:30 AM– 1 PM. Tours are not offered on Sunday and Monday.

Tours may be requested up to three months in advance, and no later than three weeks in advance.

White House Tour Request Form

The instructions for completing the White House Tour Request Form are as follows:

Please include your name, phone number, and email address where indicated.

  • Group size: You may request a tour for up to 100 guest, but note that you may need to submit your request further in advance for larger groups.
     
  • Available Days: You should include all days the group is available to tour. Including multiple days increases your chance that a tour is confirmed.
        o Examples: I’m available every Saturday in June, or I’m available June 2nd -12th, July 6, and August 15th – 21st.
       
  • Group Type: Are you a family, friends, youth group, or veterans? In this blank write what best describes your type of group.

Once the tour is requested an RSVP will be sent via email. Guests have 7 days to complete the RSVP by submitting all security information to the White House.
