Tom Carper, U.S. Senator for Delaware

Our nation's capital is a great place to visit. Not only does it serve as the seat of our government, but it also offers many educational and entertaining activities to visitors of all ages.

While most museums, federal facilities and cultural institutions allow you to schedule tours directly, my Washington, D.C. office can assist you in this process. If you are interested in securing congressional tour reservations for the U.S. Capitol, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, or the White House, please complete the form below.

We will do everything we can to accommodate your tour request, but we cannot guarantee tour availability. Please keep in mind these tours require reservations to be made far in advance of your visit. For U.S. Capitol tours, please provide at least two weeks advanced notice. For Bureau of Engraving and Printing tours, please provide at least one month advanced notice. For White House tours, please provide at least three months advanced notice. White House tours, which must be made through a Member of Congress, are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and require more detailed information from you which you will receive in a follow up correspondence from our office.

If you are interested in touring the Library of Congress or the Supreme Court, please refer to the links below. Both of these are walk-up tours and do not require reservations.

The Supreme Court: http://www.supremecourt.gov/visiting/touringthebuilding.aspx

**Please note: Due to renovations to the public screening facility outside the White House, White House tours will be temporarily closed August 11th through August 29th. Public tours will resume under reduced capacity for the week of September 1st through September 5th and will return to normal hours on September 8th.**
