Dr. Coburn Votes for Resolution Blocking the EPA from Regulating Greenhouse Gas Emissions

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK) released the following statement today after voting for a Senate resolution sponsored by U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) that would have blocked the EPA from regulating greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act without congressional legislation. The Senate failed to pass the resolution by a vote of 47 to 53.
