Corker Urges President Obama Not to Circumvent Senate Confirmation for Head of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

In a letter sent to President Barack Obama today, U.S. Senator Bob Corker, R-Tenn., a member of the Senate Banking Committee, urged the President not to circumvent the Senate confirmation process by appointing an interim head of the newly created Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
