SAFFORD — It looks like the Safford Airport will get a bit of a windfall, thanks to the efforts of U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz., and Safford city staff.

Kirkpatrick recently announced she helped secure $970,000 in grants for Arizona airports. Graham County is included in the grant and the Safford airport will receive $300,000.
