REP. LORETTA SANCHEZ RELEASES STATEMENT ON START OF OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR HEALTH INSURANCE MARKETS

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CA-46), senior member of the House Armed Services and Homeland Security Committees, today released the following statement as open enrollment begins for Health Insurance Markets under the Affordable Care Act.

“Today, open enrollment begins for the Affordable Care Act health insurance markets. If you wish to sign up for healthcare coverage or change your current plan please visit www.healthcare.gov . For specific questions regarding these plans you can call 1-800-318-2596 (TTY: 1-855-889-4325). Many consumers who were not eligible for coverage or tax credits in the past might be eligible this year.  The deadline to sign up for coverage that begins January 1st is December 15th.
