CALIFORNIA –Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CA-46), senior member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, and Congressman Sam Farr (CA-20) will visit Monterey County’s Toro Park on Friday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. PST for a fire briefing and site visit about the Chimney and Soberanes fires impacting Monterey County and local relief efforts to the fire victims. Fire officials providing the briefing are from the U.S. Forest Service, the California National Guard, and Fort Hunter Liggett.
