Media Advisory: Vitter to Hold Oversight Hearing on Patent Reform Impacts on Small Business

On Thursday, February 25, 2016, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (SBC), will hold a hearing entitled, “An Examination of Changes to the U.S. Patent System and Impacts on America’s Small Businesses.”

The hearing will examine recent changes within the U.S. patent system, including relevant legislation and laws, court decisions, and “patent trolls,” and the related impact on small businesses and innovation.
