Vitter Recognizes Award-Winning Animation Studio

Today, U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (SBC), announced Moonbot Studios of Shreveport, La. as Small Business of the Week, and will be submitting it into the official Congressional Record.

“It’s always exciting to see what Louisianians will come up with next. In Shreveport, La. a trio of artists have created a studio that produces everything from animated films to children’s books. The aim of Moonbot Studios is to tell a good story, and they are doing so successfully,” said Vitter. “Congratulations again to Moonbot Studios for being selected as Small Business of the Week. Thank you for your commitment to inspiring the next generation of Louisiana artists and storytellers. I look forward to seeing your continued growth and success.”

In 2009 Bill Joyce, Brandon Oldenburg, and Lampton Enochs opened a full-service design and production studio in Shreveport, La. Today, the group has grown into an internationally recognized studio, boasting a number of prestigious awards including an Oscar for “Best Animated Short Film” with their original production The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore.

As SBC Chairman, Vitter continues the tradition of honoring America’s small businesses and entrepreneurs.
