Congressman Tim Huelskamp

Veterans

Serving those who have served us.

I am honored and privileged to serve on the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.  Our nation’s history is grounded in the efforts of the brave men and women, including many of my family members, who have served in uniform. We must continue to honor them after they have left the Armed Services by making sure that they have the access to educational, health, and business services.

I have been a leader on the Committee to protect health services for our veterans, access to care in our rural areas,  and making certain the Veterans’ Administration is doing the job we charge them with.  In recent months, I have exposed excessive bonuses, substandard care, and bureaucratic delays.  Rest assured, I will never give up the battle to serve those who have served us.
