Pitts Pens Letter to HHS on Transgender Rule

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington, D.C. - On Thursday, Congressman Pitts, along with 46 other Members of Congress, sent a letter to Health and Human Services (HHS) expressing concern about the policy it finalized July 2016 stating that all doctors must perform gender transition surgeries (even if the doctor believes it is not in the patient’s best interest) and that all insurance providers must cover such procedures.
