Congressman Pitts the Artist

Congressman Pitts has always been a man with many hobbies, ranging from stamp collecting to training bonsai trees.  His art has been of particular interest to his friends, colleagues, and constituents.  Woodcraft, sculpture, pencil sketches, and oil painting are among genres Joe has tried his hand at with great success.  Below you can see some samples of Joe's artworks.

Soon after September 11, 2001, Congressman Pitts finished this painting of the U.S. Capitol.

One of the heroes of Congressman Pitts' youth, Winston Churchill, is the subject of this black and white oil painting.

Abraham Lincoln is a frequent subject of Joe's art.  Here's a  painting of the statue in the Lincoln Memorial.
