Serve Your Country

Answer President Obama's call to serve your country and your community. Serve.gov makes it easy for you and all Americans not only to find ways to serve in your communities, but also to create and promote your own service projects.

Peace Corps
The Peace Corps was established by President Kennedy as a federal volunteer program with the mission to provide technical assistance, help people outside the United States understand the culture of the United States, and help Americans understand the culture of other countries.

Teach for America
Teach for America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors and career interests who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools.
