While Congressman Becerra's office can primarially help you contact and deal with federal agencies, we can also help point you in the right direction if your concern is local. Simply call the District Office at 213-481-1425 with any questions you may have.

 

Los Angeles City Services

The majority of local services in California's 34th Congressional District are provided by the City of Los Angeles. From road repair to rent control, parks to parking restrictions, the city is your primary point of contact.

If you need assistance dealing with a city agency, the first number to call is 311. Operators are standing by to direct you to the correct office.

You can submit a request for service online or download the MyLA 311 Smartphone Mobile Application to quickly and easily request the City’s most popular services, including graffiti removal, pothole repair, and bulky-item pickup. 

 

If you need more in-depth assistance, your City Councilmember is there to help. To find out who your Councilmember is, visit the City of Los Angeles Web site (www.lacity.org) and type your home address into the Neighborhood Resources box. Or you can call 311 and ask for the operator to look up your city council representative.

 

Los Angeles County Services

If you live within unincorporated parts of Los Angeles County or need assistance with services provided by the County, the number to call is 211. 211 LA County provides free, confidential services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in English, Spanish and more than 140 other languages. 

 

 

Education

Congressman Becerra's district is served by the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). For information on local public schools, visit the LAUSD website, or call 213-241-4500.

If you are having difficulty dealing with LAUSD, contact your school board representative. If you don't know who your representative is, call the board's general line at 213-241-6389.
