In Case You Missed It: Neugebauer Cosponsors Bill to Keep the Government Running and Defund Obamacare

WASHINGTON, DC—Congressman Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) signed on as an original cosponsor of Congressman Tom Graves’ bill to fund the government for Fiscal Year 2014 while fully delaying and defunding Obamacare. H.J.Res. 62, the Stability, Security and Fairness Resolution, includes savings from the sequester and prioritizes funding for veterans and national defense. 

“I’m proud to join Representative Graves on this legislation,” Neugebauer said.  “He’s put forward a responsible plan that keeps our government operating while defunding Obamacare and protecting Americans from its many flaws.”

In his press release announcing the legislation, Representative Graves said, “After weeks of working with and listening to members on how to approach the government funding deadline, it’s clear that House Republicans are united around two goals: keeping the government open and protecting our constituents from the harmful effects of Obamacare. Today, my 42 cosponsors and I are putting forward a plan that achieves both goals.”
