WASHINGTON, DC—The American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a think-tank focused on protecting liberty and expanding free enterprise, released an update on the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) today. FHA Watch, July 2013 (Vol. 2, No. 7), by Edward Pinto, features an analysis of the housing finance reforms proposed by the House Financial Services Committee. Pinto calls Congressman Randy Neugebauer’s FHA reforms in the Protecting American Taxpayers and Homeowners (PATH) Act, “the most significant and common-sense Federal Housing Administration (FHA) reform legislation in memory.”
