Congressional Internship Form

Interns will gain valuable exposure to and knowledge of the legislative process through interning in either my DC or Shelby Township office. 

Washington, DC

In my Washington, DC office, interns will work in a fast-paced congressional office, gaining knowledge of the legislative process and the United States Congress. Internships run throughout the fall, spring, and summer semester for those students looking to gain work experience while continuing to complete their coursework. 

Interns will manage consitutent phone calls, greet constituents, and assist legislative staff with administrative tasks. Interns will also have the opportunity to conduct legislative research and attend legislative briefings, congressional hearings, receptions, and press events. 

Shelby Township, Michgan

In my Michigan office, interns will work gain knowledge of not only the innerworkings of the United States Congress, but also consitutent services and casework. Managing consitutent correspondence while balancing District-based projects will be a daily part of the internship experience.
