Non-profit organizations and local units of government often contact Congressman Benishek’s office seeking assistance with the federal grant process. The links below offer helpful information that will enable you to find information and guidance on writing grant proposals.

Also provided on this page are links to sources of information on grants programs offered by community and corporation foundations in the United States and in Michigan. Community and corporate foundations are often excellent sources for grant funds in their local communities.

Provides information on writing a Federal grant proposal, including basic components of a proposal, initial proposal development and information on guidelines and literature.

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA)
A government-wide compendium of Federal programs, projects, services, and activities which provide assistance or benefits to the American public. It contains financial and non-financial assistance programs administered by departments and establishments of the Federal government.
