ICYMI: November 5th marked the 7 year anniversary of the tragic shooting at Fort Hood, Texas, that took the lives of 13 soldiers and injured many more. We shall never forget their sacrifice, or that of their families.
My grandkids did a great job helping me blow out the candles! No better way to spend my birthday than surrounded by family, I am blessed.

The Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) program at Texas State University is the national standard for active shooter response training. It was great to show #TX31 leaders the incredible success of this elite program.
