Neugebauer Statement on Keystone XL Pipeline

WASHINGTON – Rep. Randy Neugebauer (TX-19) released the following statement today after supporting H.R. 3, the Keystone XL Pipeline Act:

“Today, I joined my colleagues in the House to once again support construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline. President Obama cannot continue to put politics ahead of American jobs and energy security. This is an opportunity we cannot afford to let slip away. Furthermore, today’s vote in the House comes hours after the Nebraska Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Keystone XL Pipeline. It is clear that the Obama administration is running out of excuses to further delay construction. The President should rescind his veto threat and listen to the will of the 19th District of Texas and the American people. It’s long past time to build the Keystone XL Pipeline.”
