Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Service Academies. As your 18th District Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, each year I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of applicants to service academies. (Please note that unlike the other service academies, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy does not require that applicants have a nomination to be considered for admission). Nominations are submitted between August 1st and January 31st of the school year preceding that in which admission to the academy is sought.

The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
