Veterans' Resources
My pledge to veterans
For years, I have kept a quote on my desk that was given to me by a veteran. It reads, “Because they have already paid the price, fight for veterans with all your might.” The sacrifices of our men and women in uniform must be honored with our unfailing support of veterans' benefits and programs like job placement, health care, and education. I hope the information below helps you find the answers you need, but please reach out if we can provide further assistance.
Thank you again for your service to our great nation. -- Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick
Veterans' caseworker
Our office has a caseworker, Palmer Miller, who is devoted to serving our veterans. Miller served in the Army as military police and as a recruiting specialist. During his service, he attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Since retiring from the Army in 2001, Palmer has been active in and working closely with veterans’ organizations such as the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and the Marine Corps League, to name a few. Palmer has also worked for the Arizona Department of Veterans Services and the Arizona Department of Economic Security in benefits counseling and the Disabled Veterans Outreach program.
If you need assistance with a veteran issue or a federal issue, please don't hesitate to contact our office.
