Veterans
Serving those who have served our nation.
I am a strong supporter of our nation’s veterans, and I’m committed to delivering them the best possible services that they have earned and deserve. That includes health care benefits, financial aid for their education, and career services.
Most importantly, that means holding the scandal-ridden Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) accountable to each and every veteran returning home from service. I am fully engaged with the VA leadership in West Texas and the Big Country. I’ll continue to work towards consistent, timely, and effective care for our veterans. My staff is always available to assist veteran constituents and work diligently to ensure veterans receive their full VA benefits.
I will continue to work with federal and local leaders to search for new opportunities to make life easier for those who have sacrificed for this nation. God bless our veterans and their families, and God bless America.

WASHINGTON – Rep. Randy Neugebauer (TX-19) released the following statement in honor of Veterans Day:
“On Veterans Day, we honor and express our sincerest gratitude to all who have served in our nation’s Armed Forces. I am proud to represent the many brave men and women in the 19th District of Texas who have worn our nation’s uniform, selflessly defended our freedom and liberty, and answered the greatest call to keep America safe.
This week, we celebrate our veterans, our marines, and our freedom.
Happy Veterans Day
Recognizing our Local Heroes at Dyess Air Force Base
On Wednesday, two C-130Js carrying three dozen airmen took off from Abilene to their next mission: combating the spread of Ebola in West Africa. The disease has now taken almost 5,000 lives in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea. The Dyess airmen will deliver medical supplies and personnel to those three countries, but won’t ever be in direct contact with any patients. They hope to treat and ultimately help stop the epidemic.
