Seniors

We must protect and preserve Medicare and Social Security for seniors today and for North Florida generations to come. Seniors who’ve paid into Medicare and Social Security their entire lives deserve to have their benefits protected. For too long we’ve let partisanship and political games threaten these safety net programs.

North Florida’s Second Congressional District has more than 83,500 seniors who rely on Medicare.  Another 128,290 people count on the Social Security they earned through years of hard work. I refuse to support any budget that would jeopardize these programs through plans like privatization.
