Congresswoman Gwen Graham

Representing the 2nd District of Florida

Armed Services and National Security

Our government’s most important responsibility is to keep our country safe. Around the world, we’re facing new threats from terrorism, cyber-attacks and rogue regimes bent on developing nuclear weapons. We must continue to strengthen our military to ensure we continue to have the strongest national defense in the 21st Century.

With two military bases in the Second Congressional District, I’m proud to represent all of our military personnel and their families on the House Armed Services Committee. Whether they’re stationed in North Florida or on the front lines, our service members deserve to know we have their backs.

Tyndall Air Force Base and the Naval Support Activity Base Panama City generate around $1 billion in economic activity for North Florida. I’m working with Republicans and Democrats to protect our bases and the thousands of military-related jobs in our district.

If you or a family member are in the military need assistance with a federal agency or any other issue, please contact our office’s military affairs liaison at (850) 891-8610.
