Miller Presents Congressional Certificate to Michigan’s Principal of the Year

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) issued the following statement after presenting Sandusky High School Principal Steve Carlson, the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) 2016 Principal of the Year, with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition:

“Today, I had the pleasure of welcoming Sandusky High School Principal and MASSP’s Principal of the Year Steve Carlson to Washington, D.C. After meeting Steve and discussing everything he does for his students and our entire community, it is easy to see why so many supported his nomination. As someone who comes from a family of educators, I understand the important role they play in shaping the minds and values of our nation’s next generation of leaders, and, with Steve at the helm, their future looks very bright.”
