U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich holds a medal ceremony to recognize U.S. Marine Corps Private First Class Tom Weaver and U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Cameron Haley at the All Veterans Memorial Plaza at Berg Park in Farmington.
On Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each until 5:00 p.m.
At 5:00 p.m., the Senate will proceed to the consideration of H.R. 4511, Gold Star Families Voices Act. There be 30 minutes of debate followed by a vote on passage of the bill.
There will be a series of pro forma sessions between October 3 and November 14.
