Internships in the Washington, DC and Ohio offices of Senator Rob Portman offer college-aged students an exciting introduction to the U.S. Senate and the workings of a Senate office.  

Interns are assigned to work alongside staff responsible for the Senator’s legislative, press, and administrative operations.

Internships are designed primarily for students who have completed at least one full year of collegiate undergraduate coursework. Preference is given to students who are residents of Ohio.

We are currently in the process of determining our internship schedules for the Spring and Summer of 2017. Please check back on November 15th for details regarding the application process.
