Congressman John Carney capped off a 3 city financial forum in Newark Wednesday evening and let attendees attempt to reduce the federal deficit.

Carney is traveling up and down the state to give Delawareans a taste of what it's like to balance the federal budget and reduce the deficit.

At his financial forums participants were asked to weigh what programs to cut or keep to make the sure country stays running.

Carney says a key component to America's success is reforming the tax codes and luring more businesses to build in America.

"We have to start making things here in America again," he said. "And we have to do everything we can to tilt the field for corporations to make that happen here."

Carney cited GE as a company who moved international plants back to the US.
