TOMORROW: Briefing with Civilian Drone Strike Victims

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Rafiq ur Rehman, a primary school teacher in Pakistan, will appear at a congressional briefing hosted by Congressman Alan Grayson (FL-09) tomorrow, October 29th. Rafiq’s mother was killed by a drone strike. His two children suffered injuries associated with a drone strike, and will also appear at tomorrow’s briefing. The event marks the first opportunity for Congress to hear from drone strike survivors. 

A preview from the upcoming Brave New Films documentary Unmanned: America’s Drone Wars will be shown at the briefing. Robert Greenwald, the documentary’s director, will moderate the briefing. (For an exclusive preview of the documentary, click here.)
