Here’s an update on my effort to reduce the influence of big money special interests and return our government to the American people. https://www.washingtonpost.com/…/legal-team-seeking-to-und…/
I made a promise to myself that if I could clear the names of Marine pilots John Brow and Brooks Gruber, then I would visit and plant my challenge coin at each of their gravestones. Last March, my prayers were answered and their names were cleared after being incorrectly blamed for a fatal V-22 Osprey crash in 2000 that took their lives. In the spring, John Brow's family and I visited his gravestone and we celebrated his life together.

It was an honor to be part of the Sensor Control and Management Platoon (SCAMP) Reunion this weekend. SCAMP was an intelligence gathering unit from 1968-1971 that implemented movement detection systems. When this unit first began, it was classified, and therefore, they did not receive recognition for their service at that time. I want to thank these Marines for serving during this difficult and discovering the enemy's movements through this new generation of technology.
