Congressional Art Contest

Each year, Congressman Mica sponsors an art contest that is open to all high school students in the 7th Congressional District.

This contest provides students with a forum to display their works and also helps to promote artistic discovery and art programs in area schools.

The winner for 2015 is Celeste Caldwell of Lake Mary who will be flown to Washington, D.C. to join in the celebrations for the opening of this year's Art Contest exhibit. Celeste and other winners' artwork will spend a year on display at the U.S. Capitol for for thousands to enjoy.

Students interested in this contest should be sure that they understand all the guidelines for submitting their work for consideration.
