WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Fleming released the following statement following the recent explosion at Camp Minden.

“I encourage concerned citizens to attend the latest public town hall meeting on October 13, 2016 hosted by the Louisiana National Guard to get more information regarding the progress and planned activities at Camp Minden. The recent explosion at Camp Minden will be discussed by the National Guard, and their plans for some immediate actions that will be taken later this month. My office staff will be at these meetings and I suggest residents in the area attend to learn what has taken place thus far and what the Guard will be doing next.”
