Hudson: Tax Day a Reminder of Need for Simple, Pro-Growth Code

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement on the need to give the American people a tax code that works for them:

"Today, as millions of Americans fork over much of their hard-earned income to a government that still lives too far beyond its means, millions of others are also still struggling to make ends meet under the Obama economy.  This Tax Day I’m reminded that our tax code fails to work for the hardworking, fails to generate the rate of growth needed to create jobs, and fails to make the filing process even close to tolerable.

“I will continue to fight to simplify and flatten the tax code so it is more fair for all individuals, families, small business and job creators."
