Hudson Statement on President Obama’s FY17 Budget Proposal
 
WASHINGTON, D.C.- Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement reacting to President Barack Obama’s budget proposal:
 
“Once again, President Obama has delivered a budget that doesn’t balance, raises taxes on middle class families, grows the government instead of the economy and fails to address the fiscal challenges we face. His vision for the future of our country is out of step with what the American people want and deserve. The fact is, our economy is experiencing one of the slowest recoveries in our nation’s history. That’s why I’m working with my colleagues to build a pro-growth, balanced budget that empowers the American people and gets our country back on track.”
