Hudson Recognized as Guardian of Seniors’ Rights
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) was awarded the Guardian of Seniors’ Rights Award by the 60 Plus Association, a national non-partisan senior citizens organization.
“I’m honored to be recognized for my work to protect Social Security and Medicare and be a voice for North Carolina’s seniors in Congress. From saving our vital safety net programs to ending wasteful spending of our tax dollars, I’ll continue to fight to restore fiscal responsibility in Washington and keep our promises to today’s seniors and future generations.”
Rep. Hudson has previously received the 60 Plus Association’s Benjamin Franklin Award for his work to repeal the death tax.
