Ashtabula Star Beacon: Geauga Co. Farm Bureau presents ‘Friend of Agriculture' award

Incumbent U.S. Rep. David Joyce, R-14th District, and incumbent State Sen. John Eklund, R-18th District, have been designated a Friend of Agriculture by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation and Agriculture for Good Government Political Action Committee (AGGPAC).
 
Joyce and Eklund received the award at Patterson’s Fruit Farm in Chesterland Thursday. The award recognizes incumbents and those running for office who stand out as advocates for Ohio’s diverse agricultural community. As a nonpartisan organization, Farm Bureau awards its “Friend” designation, regardless of political affiliation, to individuals who have demonstrated their willingness to collaborate with Farm Bureau to the benefit of its members and all Ohioans.
